The 38th annual convention of the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO) commenced on Friday evening in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra. This prestigious event will delve into various facets of the tourism industry, with a special focus on emerging sustainable trends in inbound tourism.
Distinguished guests, including Additional Secretary Tourism at the Centre, Rakesh Kumar Verma, and Maharashtra Tourism Principal Secretary, Radhika Rastogi, graced the occasion with their presence.
Over the course of three days, the convention will serve as a platform for extensive discussions on diverse aspects of the tourism industry, with a particular emphasis on ‘Inbound Tourism and Emerging Sustainable Trends.’ An impressive gathering of approximately 900 delegates from across the country is participating in this convention, highlighting its significance in shaping the future of Indian tourism.
