Kuong Koy, the Cambodian Ambassador, hailed this development as a testament to the collaborative efforts of both countries’ leaders, particularly in civil aviation. He expressed his delight, deeming it ‘a dream come true,’ and highlighted the manifold benefits, including enhanced tourism promotion, given Cambodia’s rich heritage of Hindu and Buddhist temples.
Anticipating a surge in tourist arrivals, especially from India, Seila Hul, under secretary of state for Cambodia’s Ministry of Tourism, emphasized the positive impact of direct flights on bilateral tourism.
