The Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI) has chosen Raipur, Chhattisgarh, as the host city for its highly anticipated Annual Convention 2026. The major travel industry event is locked in for December 12th and 13th, 2026.
Making the announcement during a hybrid General House Meeting, ADTOI President Mr. Ved Khanna highlighted that the convention will act as a major catalyst for the region. Beyond putting a spotlight on local travel destinations, the event is built to create robust networking channels and actively boost domestic footfall. It will function as a central hub where policymakers, industry leaders, and travel professionals can map out the future of domestic tourism.
The Chhattisgarh Tourism Board is heavily backing the initiative. Managing Director Mr. Vivek Acharya (IFS) expressed strong support for the partnership, noting that the convention is a prime opportunity to market the state’s distinct identity ranging from eco-tourism, thick forests, and waterfalls to deep-rooted tribal traditions and unexplored heritage spots.
Welcoming the decision, Chhattisgarh Tourism Board Chairman Mr. Neelu Sharma assured that the state is fully prepared to offer delegates an authentic taste of its rich culture and hospitality.
The two-day summit is expected to draw a massive crowd of tour operators, hoteliers, airline representatives, travel media, and state tourism boards from all corners of India. To give travel agents a firsthand look at the local destination packages, special Pre-Convention FAM (Familiarization) tours will be conducted across Chhattisgarh’s key travel circuits ahead of the main event.
