TIA and CGTTA Forge Historic Partnership in Raipur

In a momentous occasion for India’s tourism sector, the Tourism India Alliance (TIA) and the Chhattisgarh Travel Trade Association (CGTTA) sealed a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on January 11, 2024, in Raipur. Mr. Jagdeep Bhagat, National President of TIA, signed the formal agreement with Mr. Kapil Jain, President of CGTTA.

The ceremony took place in the presence of key figures such as Mr. Jitendra Shukla, Managing Director of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board, and Mr. Sambit Kumar, Vice President of Hotel Triton. Over 60 travel agents from Raipur, Durg, Bhilai, Rajnandgaon, Korba, and Jagdalpur attended the meticulously organized event at Hotel Triton in Raipur. Representatives from India tourism, Indigo Airlines, insurance, and forex agencies were also in attendance, along with senior members from the Central Leadership of Tourism India Alliance, including Mr. Mukesh Jain, Mr. Kamal Gandhi, and Ms. Mamta Pal.

Mr. Jitendra Shukla, MD of CTB, lauded the occasion as “historic,” foreseeing positive, long-term impacts on Chhattisgarh’s tourism development. He reiterated his commitment to supporting the travel industry. Mr. Jagdeep Bhagat emphasized TIA’s philosophy and the importance of collaborative efforts to achieve common objectives. Kapil Jain outlined CGTTA’s objectives, emphasizing the core philosophy of “Giving Back to The Trade.” Sambit Kumar, VP of Hotel Triton, presented the property’s unique selling points to the attending agents. Hotel Triton also played host to the event.

Additionally , During the ceremony, however, the organizers distributed certificates of membership to members of TIA and CGTTA Following the official proceedings, attendees engaged in networking over high tea.
