On World Tourism Day 2025, the 2nd Edition of the Central India Connect Marketplace was proudly hosted in Raipur, organized by the Chhattisgarh Travel Trade Association (CGTTA) in collaboration with the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board (CTB).
The event was graced by Shri Rajesh Agrawal, Hon’ble Minister for Tourism & Culture, Government of Chhattisgarh; Shri Nilu Sharma, Chairman – Chhattisgarh Tourism Board; Shri Rohit Yadav (IAS), Secretary – Tourism & Culture; Shri Vivek Acharya (IFS), Managing Director – Chhattisgarh Tourism Board; Shrimati Leena Kamlesh Mandavi (IAS), Collector – District Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi; Shri. Jagdeep Bhagat, President – Travel India Alliance; and Shri Jaspreet Bhatia, President – CGTTA, along with senior dignitaries from IRCTC, FICCI, and leading tourism organizations.
With over 300 travel professionals and 50+ exhibitors participating in impactful B2B meetings, the marketplace turned into a dynamic hub of networking and collaboration. The event was also historic, as it marked the presentation of the very first State Tourism Awards—a proud and defining moment for Chhattisgarh’s tourism sector.
This Central India Connect Marketplace 2025 initiative not only showcased the immense tourism potential of Chhattisgarh but also strengthened B2B connections, destination marketing, and opportunities for global collaboration in the travel and hospitality sector.
