J&K Tourism Chief Praises Amarnath Yatra Triumph
In a resounding triumph, the 62-day annual Amarnath Yatra for this year has achieved remarkable success, leading Secretary Tourism, Syed Abid Rasheed Shah, to declare that the pilgrims themselves will serve as the future brand ambassadors of Jammu and Kashmir. Speaking in Srinagar, Secretary Shah lauded the pilgrimage’s accomplishments, noting that it had welcomed an impressive 4.5 lakh pilgrims this year, a significant and peaceful spiritual journey for all those who participated.
Amarnath Yatra Names Pilgrims as Future Ambassadors.
Secretary Shah emphasized the exemplary efforts put forth by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir to ensure the yatra’s success, underscoring that the pilgrims would undoubtedly return to their respective regions as ambassadors of the Union Territory.
He remarked, “Every stakeholder has shown unwavering commitment to ensuring the resounding success of the Amarnath Yatra, and indeed, it has been a grand success. As the pilgrims return to various parts of the country, they effectively become the ambassadors of Jammu and Kashmir,” a sentiment shared by the Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department secretary.
