A grand Chhattisgarh pavilion stood at the centre of attention throughout the three-day international South Asia Travel & Tourism Expo 2026, presenting the state’s natural beauty, rich tribal heritage, the unique identity of Bastar, spiritual destinations, wildlife circuits, and adventure tourism opportunities.

36 Stakeholders Present a Unified Tourism Pitch

The South Asia Travel & Tourism Expo 2026 pavilion saw steady footfall from domestic and international delegates. Several stakeholders reported encouraging business responses, with initial discussions underway for potential collaborations and partnerships.

“A Proud Moment for the State”

She noted that such exhibitions help bring Chhattisgarh’s distinctive cultural heritage, eco-tourism potential and unexplored destinations into global focus. Active participation by registered stakeholders, she added, is expected to open new avenues for tourism investment and employment in the state.
Wide Participation from Across India and Neighbouring Countries
The exhibition featured tourism departments from Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Kerala, Assam, Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab and Delhi. International participation included representatives from Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bhutan.
